1. Introduction

Welcome to CVHolder.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CVHolder platform, website, services, features, and related tools (“Platform”).

By creating an account, accessing the Platform, purchasing a package, or using any CVHolder service, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use CVHolder.

These Terms apply to all users, including Jobseekers, Recruiters, Employers, and other individuals or organizations using the Platform.

2. About CVHolder

CVHolder is an online career and recruitment platform designed to connect jobseekers with employers and recruiters.

CVHolder enables:

Jobseekers to:

• create professional CVs;
• host CVs;
• maintain career profiles;
• access job opportunities;
• apply for available positions;
• use career-related platform features.

Recruiters and Employers to:

• create employer profiles;
• publish job vacancies;
• search candidate profiles;
• access CVs where permitted;
• save candidates;
• communicate with jobseekers;
• manage recruitment activities.

CVHolder provides a platform that facilitates connections between jobseekers and employers but does not act as an employer, recruitment agency, or hiring decision-maker.

3. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

“CVHolder” means CvHolder Ghana Ltd.

“Platform” means the CVHolder website, applications, services, and related features.

“Jobseeker” means an individual using CVHolder to create a profile, CV, apply for jobs, or access career services.

“Recruiter” or “Employer” means an individual or organization using CVHolder for recruitment purposes.

“User” means any person accessing or using CVHolder.

“Content” means information, documents, CVs, messages, profiles, job postings, and other materials submitted to the Platform.

4. Account Registration

Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account.

Users are responsible for:

• maintaining the confidentiality of account login details;
• ensuring account information remains accurate;
• all activities conducted through their account;
• notifying CVHolder of unauthorized account access.

Users must not create accounts using false information or impersonate another person or organization.

5. Jobseeker Services

Jobseekers may use CVHolder to:

• create CVs;
• host CVs;
• access job opportunities;
• apply for jobs;
• use package-specific features.

Jobseekers are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to CVHolder is accurate, truthful, and not misleading.

CVHolder does not guarantee that a Jobseeker will:

• receive job offers;
• receive interviews;
• be contacted by recruiters;
• obtain employment.

6. Jobseeker Packages and Payments

CVHolder may offer different Jobseeker packages with different features, pricing, and access levels.

Where a Jobseeker purchases a package described as a one-time payment, that payment provides access to the applicable package features for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase.

A one-time payment does not represent lifetime access.

Additional payments may apply where a Jobseeker:

• upgrades to another package;
• purchases additional paid features;
• purchases services outside the original package;
• reaches the end of the applicable five-year period.

Package features, pricing, and availability may change from time to time.

7. Recruiter and Employer Services

Recruiters may use CVHolder to:

• create employer profiles;
• post job vacancies;
• search candidates;
• view candidate profiles;
• access CVs where permitted;
• save candidates;
• communicate with jobseekers;
• manage recruitment activities.

Recruiters are responsible for ensuring that all job postings and company information provided are accurate and legitimate.

8. Recruiter Membership and Payments

Recruiter services operate through paid membership packages.

Recruiter memberships are billed annually unless otherwise stated.

A Recruiter membership provides access to applicable recruiter features for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase or renewal.

Recruiters must renew their membership annually to continue accessing paid recruiter services.

Different Recruiter packages may have different features, restrictions, and access levels.

9. Ownership of User Content

Users retain ownership of information and documents they upload to CVHolder.

This includes:

• CVs;
• professional information;
• profile information;
• job-related content;
• uploaded materials.

By submitting content to CVHolder, users grant CVHolder a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, process, display, and use that content only as necessary to provide Platform services.

This licence does not transfer ownership of user content to CVHolder.

10. Recruiter Use of Candidate Information

Recruiters may access candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes.

Recruiters must not:

• misuse candidate information;
• sell or distribute candidate information;
• use candidate information for unrelated purposes;
• create unauthorized candidate databases;
• contact candidates for inappropriate or unlawful purposes.

Recruiters are responsible for complying with applicable laws when handling candidate information.

11. Fair Use and Prohibited Activities

CVHolder is intended only for legitimate career and recruitment purposes.

Users must not:

• provide false or fraudulent information;
• create fake accounts;
• impersonate another person or organization;
• upload fraudulent CVs, qualifications, or employment information;
• publish fake job opportunities;
• conduct scams or fraudulent activities;
• request unauthorized payments from other users;
• send spam or unsolicited communications;
• harass, threaten, or abuse other users;
• distribute malicious software or harmful links;
• scrape or extract platform data without permission;
• interfere with Platform security;
• misuse CVHolder services.

CVHolder reserves the right to investigate suspected violations and may remove content, restrict access, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, or take further legal action where necessary.

12. Communications Between Users

CVHolder may provide communication features that allow Jobseekers and Recruiters to interact.

Users agree to communicate professionally and lawfully.

CVHolder does not control all communications between users and is not responsible for agreements, disputes, or interactions that occur between users.

13. Artificial Intelligence and Matching Features

CVHolder may use intelligent systems to improve the recruitment experience, including:

• job recommendations;
• candidate recommendations;
• search ranking;
• skills matching;
• profession matching.

These features are designed to assist users and do not constitute employment decisions.

Recruiters remain solely responsible for evaluating candidates and making hiring decisions.

CVHolder does not make automatic hiring decisions.

14. Intellectual Property

All rights relating to CVHolder’s platform, branding, software, design, databases, and technology belong to CVHolder or its licensors.

Users may not:

• copy;
• modify;
• reproduce;
• distribute;
• reverse engineer;
• commercially exploit;

any part of the Platform without written permission from CVHolder.

15. Platform Availability and Changes

CVHolder continually improves and updates its Platform.

CVHolder may:

• modify features;
• introduce new services;
• remove features;
• update technical requirements;
• suspend services temporarily for maintenance.

CVHolder does not guarantee that the Platform will always be available without interruption.

16. Updates to These Terms

CVHolder may update or amend these Terms from time to time to reflect:

• changes to Platform features;
• new services;
• legal or regulatory requirements;
• operational changes;
• improvements to user protections.

Where significant changes are made, CVHolder may provide notice through appropriate channels, including the Platform or email communication.

Your continued use of CVHolder after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the revised Terms.

Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically.

17. Account Suspension and Termination

CVHolder may suspend or terminate accounts where users:

• violate these Terms;
• engage in fraud or abuse;
• provide false information;
• misuse the Platform;
• create security risks;
• engage in unlawful activities.

Where appropriate, CVHolder may restrict access, remove content, or permanently disable accounts.

18. Third-Party Services

CVHolder may use third-party providers to support Platform operations, including payment processing, hosting, and other technical services.

Third-party services may operate under their own terms and policies.

19. Disclaimers

CVHolder provides a platform that connects jobseekers and recruiters.

CVHolder does not guarantee:

• employment;
• successful recruitment outcomes;
• accuracy of all user-submitted information;
• responses from recruiters or candidates;
• uninterrupted Platform availability.

Users are responsible for their own decisions and interactions on the Platform.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVHolder shall not be liable for:

• indirect losses;
• loss of employment opportunities;
• disputes between users;
• decisions made by recruiters or jobseekers;
• service interruptions outside CVHolder’s reasonable control.

21. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and protect CVHolder from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• violation of these Terms;
• misuse of the Platform;
• unlawful activities;
• infringement of third-party rights.

22. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of CVHolder shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
